Customer Communication
December 23, 2020

Dear Customer,

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, we remain committed to the health and safety of our Employees and Customers. As mentioned in past communications, we believe the measures we’ve taken to prevent transmission within our sites have proven effective; we are proud of our record to date in which the vast majority of the cases experienced at Nellson have resulted from transmission outside our sites.

Return to Office Update:

Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have pledged that our onsite work policies would respect provincial, state, and local guidelines and would be subject to change based on “facts on the ground”. Therefore, in light of the increase in confirmed cases in our communities, with various local governments reinstating greater restrictions on bars, restaurants and other gathering places, and with the likelihood of holiday celebrations amongst family and friends, out of an abundance of caution, we have reverted back to Phase I of our Return to Work policy. Employees who can effectively work remotely will do so until further notice.

Supply Chain Disruptions:

We continue to experience some delays in fulfilling customer requests at some of our sites due in part to material delays and shortages from our vendors. We are working with our suppliers to understand their capacity, inventory, and factory/production activity, as well as engaging in sourcing alternatives where necessary. We are also experiencing some issues with staffing which are also causing delays. We are working hard to catch up on past dues orders and will be running extended shifts to accelerate. During this time, we are asking that customers provide as much lead time as possible on orders even extending beyond the full contractual lead times. This request will also allow us to work with suppliers and find solutions for some of the supply chain disruptions we are currently experiencing.

Visitors Policy:

We will continue to follow a very strict visitor policy as our top priority is to protect the health and safety of our Customers and Employees. Visitors will only be allowed on site if the in-person meeting/appointment is critical to the operation of the business. If a meeting/appointment must take place on site, the number of visitors will be limited to no more than two (2) people. All on-site visits must be approved in advance by the Site Director or Nellson Executive Leadership Team.

Best wishes to all for a happy and healthy holiday season.

Sincerely,

Jamie Better

Chief Executive Officer
